Born in London, Keto is currently studying Criminology and is hoping to combine his studies with playing for the Holy Blues – and hopes that having caught the eye, with his high octane performance on Tuesday, he will be able to force his way into Tom Shaw’s reckoning in the final dozen games of the 2021/22 season. Keto, at 19 years of age and studying at Nottingham Trent University is relishing the opportunity handed to him by Tom Shaw and the Holy Blues as he announced:

"I’m happy to join such a club and  looking forward to developing with the quality of players around me."

As a teenager, Keto played at Reading’s Madejski Stadium in the final of the U14 English Schools’ final, scoring the only goal of the game to give his side a one nil victory.  Plucked from Step Six, where he has been impressing for Clifton FC, the talented hopeful links up with the squad ahead of the home game double header against Lancaster City on Saturday, and Matlock the week after, where he will hope to continue his rapid ascent of the leagues.

A fearless full back, Head Coach Tom Shaw had few qualms about blooding the youngster in the Lincolnshire cup and equally felt it right to have Keto more involved with the matchday travelling party between now and the end of the season.

"Prosper has some outstanding athletic attributes and plays with huge heart and desire. He has worked hard to earn this opportunity and after showing everybody what he is capable of last Tuesday night against Boston United, I am confident he can strengthen our squad for the forthcoming fixtures."

Shaw continued, "He can play in a number of positions and I think he has potential to be a top player in the future if he continues his upward curve of development."

Welcome to the club, Prosper! If your debut was anything to go by, I am certain the Gainsborough faithful will enjoy your all action style of play and enjoy watching you grow and develop!

In other news, strikers Jack Gibson and Declan Bacon have left the club on loan. Gibson joined play-off chasing Belper Town of Step 4 (Northern Premier League, Midlands Division). Gibbo coming on as a second half substitute and scoring twice to give the Nailers victory over Coleshill Town on Saturday. Meanwhile, Bacon signed for Northern Premier League, East Division side Liversedge, who are currently one point off the top of the league, with a game in hand on Marske United.
