The Holy Blues are looking into the possibility of putting on coaches for the final, dependent on interest. Please contact the club via the usual social channels to express your interest in a place on the coach. More details will be announced nearer the time.

On the way to the final, Gainsborough saw off Lincoln City in the Quarter Final, lifting the John Reames Trophy at the same time, Curtis Morrison & Ben Morris netting the goals on the night. The Holy Blues then went on to beat Boston United at the Gainsborough Martin and Co Arena, thanks to goals from Tom Cursons and our trialist centre back, Jonathan Erhabor.

Scunthorpe narrowly beat Spalding 2-1 to book their place in the final, with a trialist and Tom Pugh on the mark for the Iron. That following on from having beaten Grantham Town away by a goal to nil in pre-season. Mason O’Malley netting on that night.

With both sides sitting lower in the table than either team would have wanted, April fifth provides both sets of supporters with the prospect of something to cheer – so whack the date in your diary and get yourselves along, to hopefully see Tom Shaw’s young Gainsborough Trinity side picking up some silverware!
