Highly regarded, Conway spent time on trial at League Two side Doncaster Rovers during pre-season. A former youngster in the Sheffield United Academy, Mascher is a tough tackling, technically gifted midfielder with an eye for a pass, comfortably operating in a central defensive midfield role. Prior to his move up the ladder to National League North side Alfreton, Bailey established himself in the Rossington Main engine room over a three year period. None more so than last season when he was part of Rossington Main's most successful season to date, reaching the play-off final, only to be defeated by North Ferriby.

Work rate, energy and tough tackling are further attributes Bailey brings to the table, and having previously donned the armband at Oxford Street he fits the profile of player Trinity boss Neal Bishop is keen to attract to the football club, "I’m delighted to get Bailey to the football club. He obviously had other options but has bought in to what we are trying to do here. He’s technically very good and although he’s slight in build, will get stuck in. I think he’s a great fit for us, and obviously with Fin leaving, it fills that hole."

On penning his deal, Conway enthused, "I’m really happy and excited to be here, everything the gaffer said to me about the whole club sounded perfect. The team has had a great first half of the season and hopefully I can come in and help make a positive impact on the second half, helping this club achieve their ambitions."

"Finally, I can’t wait to get playing with the lads and also playing in front of the fans."

Subject to league and F A ratification, Bailey will be available for tomorrow's top of the table clash at home to South Shields. We extend a warm welcome to Bailey and wish him a long and successful stay with the Holy Blues. To see the new man in action, grab your tickets online to beat the queues at the turnstiles.
